www.Dr-Toby.com
Dr. Hallowitz is a naturopathic doctor (ND), classically-trained Chinese medicine practitioner and licensed acupuncturist providing alternative medicine options to the Inland Northwest community. He concentrates his treatments on whole-patient wellness, evidence-based clinical naturopathic medicine and Chinese medicine theory and therapies that have been practiced over the past millennia. Dr. Toby tailors to each individual patient’s unique condition rather than focusing on the disease. Using natural treatment modalities such as acupuncture, dietary modification, nutritional supplements, botanical medicine, homeopathy, acupuncture, Chinese herbology, nature cure, and hydrotherapy, he emphasizes prevention and restoration of balance to the body, mind and spirit.

Dr. Toby grew up in the Washington D.C. metro area, obtained his undergraduate education at the University of Rochester, NY and received his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and Master of Science in Oriental Medicine at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in Portland. Dr. Toby has worked with patients who have many different health concerns and conditions. Some of these include: cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, smoking, autoimmune disease, heavy metal toxicity, musculoskeletal complaints, infertility, pregnancy (including pre-birth acupuncture), menopausal symptoms, insomnia, back & neck pain, depression, anxiety, dermatological conditions and much more. Great Wall of China, Beijing, China - 2011
Growing up in Coeur d'Alene, surrounded by nature and an abundance of outdoor activities, Sally developed a love for plants and its medicinal healing powers. Focusing on living a healthy life was continually a part of her daily routine. She left Coeur d'Alene after obtaining a degree in science, with a focus in botany and human biology. She then relocated to Honolulu, Hawaii where she continued her studies, attending The Institute of Clinical Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Sally had the opportunity to study in China at Guangzhou University Hospital, as well as intern at Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific, where she was personally asked to study under Dr. Wai Low. Treatments were focused on stress and pain management.

Graduating in 2012, Sally opened her first clinical practice in Kailua, Hawaii where she specialized in women's health, pain management, mental health (including anxiety, depression, stress management, insomnia, PTSD and trauma). Beyond these specialties, Sally also sees patients for general health concerns and overall wellness. She is excited to return to her roots in Coeur d'Alene where she can share all of her knowledge and healing experience to help patients rebalance their body, mind, and spirit.

Brigitte Hallowitz, LET
www.skinBnatural.com
Naturopathic Holistic skin care is the philosophy of treating the body and skin as one cohesive unit - what happens inside our body is reflected on our skin. Brigitte focuses on helping the skin to function optimally by stimulating the healing power of nature with performance, results-driven natural skin care products, facials and microcurrent treatments.

MICROCURRENT: a form of massage, using very low levels of electrical current. It triggers the body’s natural cellular repair mechanism. Used as an anti-aging tool, it can diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by toning and rejuvenating the facial muscles. This process stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. The effects are immediate and cumulative. The uplifting therapy is preventative, as well as corrective.

OSMOSIS: line of skin care products for facials and at home skin care. Osmosis focuses on reducing inflammation and rebalancing through an inside-out approach, resulting in permanent changes. This is achieved through a series of revolutionary ingredients and technologies delivered via their patent-pending liposomal delivery system. Osmosis uses holistic therapies to treat skin conditions at the source. Rooted in science it address every aspect of skin damage and aging, targeting pathways from the inside out.

MOOM® hair removal: a revolutionary combination of 100% organic and food grade ingredients making it ideal for sensitive skin and delicate areas. Its carefully balanced formula gently removes hair with its root and keeps it off for up to eight weeks. MOOM® has taken a holistic approach to hair removal where the beauty and health of the skin is the focus and the integrity of our precious environment is preserved.

BreAnna Guan, ND
Specializing in Womens’ Healthcare
"I look forward to meeting you
and discussing how best to address your women’s health needs!"

Dr. BreAnna Guan attended medical school at Bastyr University in Seattle, WA, where she was awarded the prestigious Sheila Quinn Founder’s Award for service to the Bastyr community. Excellent service to her clients and community at large is something she continues to hold in the highest esteem.

Dr. Guan began her career working with breast and prostate cancer patients on an NIH grant at the Bastyr Integrative Oncology Research Center. Working with cancer patients instilled in her a deep commitment to prevention and understanding of what relentless hope means. She shifted her focus to integrative family health and health aging/prevention because she knew if we started “healthy” from the beginning with families, mothers, babies, and families we could positively impact many generations to come.

Dr. Guan blends the art of healing with the the science of modern medicine. Most of her recommendations will include foods, nutrients, lifestyle changes, and herbal medicines to offer nourishment and greater balance. Dr. Guan enjoys yoga, tending to her flock of chickens and herbal garden, and taking nature adventures with her husband and three children.
Dr. BreAnna's Story?
Let's try this birth control pill to balance your cycle. These were the words I heard from many doctors while I sought out answers for my missing menstrual cycle. I tried the pills and I felt awful. Ultimately, they weren't in line with my values, plus I knew these pills were not actually balancing my hormones they were suppressing them.  I wanted to feel my ovulation with the full moon and painlessly start my period on the new moon, maybe a bit romantic. What is wanted was someone to do some more in-depth testing to tell me, "this is why you are not having a period and this is how to fix it" to get to the root cause of my issue and find out what was really going on, I wanted to be healthy naturally! I kept hearing your hormones levels are "normal." I now know that random day hormone testing is pretty useless and almost always "normal." Women's hormones just aren't that simple. Gosh, I wondered, do I need to hire a detective for this missing period, someone who is really interested in finding the answers? I knew there had to be another way and I found it. This journey led me to Naturopathic Medicine, where I was no longer just hormone levels but a whole and unique person.

What is your story?
Perhaps you feel similar? Maybe you see the GI doctor for your IBS and the endocrinologist for thyroid and PCOS and the list goes on. All the while, you're still gaining weight and there's a nagging voice in your head that keeps asking, "could all these things be related." You ask your doctor and they say no.  With a strong will to survive, you go online and search for information but it is all conflicting. You read some medical articles (you're smart!), throw a dart, cross your fingers, take some fish oil and inositol, try the IBS diet and the Hashimoto's gluten-free, high-carb, low-carb, adrenal bacon-cheese diet, and then you know this much stress and uncertainty can't be good for your acne and so you stop....

This is where I come in. I know your struggle, I get it. You want clear answers and you want the truth. You don't want facial hair, hot-flashes, IBS, loads of supplements, cream, powders, and pills, you want healing and having some carbs sounds pretty great right now.

Here's the plan, first we need to identify the causes to your difficulties, tie all the pieces together and see the bigger picture of who you are and your unique story. We then will work together to help support you towards healing and disease prevention so that you feel amazing for the long haul (no quick fixes here). My goal and intention is that all of this will lead to a relationship based on honesty and trust, and that you will gain the skills and know how to create vibrant and lasting health in your own unique way.
